Should I Be Worried About Low WBC Count During Menopause?

Menopause started four years ago along with dry, bitter taste and tongue tingling and burning. Complete nuero tests all negative. A year ago had tingling in face, head, hands and feet for two months. All tests negative. Last bloodwork showed low WBC, dr says he will recheck in six months. Should I be concerned?

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

After Menopause the female reproductive hormones estrogen and progesterone are decreased, because of that you may have dryness, flushing, tingling. Please eat plenty of dairy products, eggs and soya products daily. You can take Tab Neurobion Forte for a month. For WBC repeat the test again. You need not to worry about it right now.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shrikrushna Chavan, OB & GYN Specialist
