Should I Be Concerned About Early Intrauterine Gestation?
Early intrauterine gestation is depicted with an obvious fetal pole and cardiac pulsations.Mean GS measurement correspond to 7wks 4days. Hoeever there is discrepancy btwn the last monthly period and the dates yielded by the ultrasound scan.Delayed embryonic development further 10days is suggested to exclude the same.Cervical internal Os is closed. Both adnexae n da cul de sac are free. Doctor am jst worried this the report given to me n still the doctor Cldt here the heartbeat of ma baby wot shld I do
If a fetal pole and cardiac pulsations were seen, then it means the baby is alright. It only suggests that the pregnancy was concieved a little later than that predicted by the date of periods. This is not an uncommon occurence at all. Just get a follow up scan after 2 weeks. If the baby grows by 2 weeks there is no need to worry at all. I suggest you take progesterone and folic acid until then.
Do not worry. This is not uncommon at all. All my good wishes are with you.
