Should I Express Concern Over Low Hemoglobin Level?

my fiancee age 25 recently went to donate blodd and got rejected as they told them she have low hemoglobin count

what preventive measure should be taken to get normal hemoglobin count and healthy...also tell me what is the normal hemoglobin count for man and women

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Normal hb for male is 13 to 16 gm/dl and 12.5 to 14gm/dl.Your Hb may be low. Minimum hb for blood donation is 12.5gm/ dl. Your hb may be below that so you are rejected. Just go for complete blood count with rbc parameters once. Most commonly due to iron deficiency. Just test for that. Take treatment accordingly. .
