Ive been peeing a lot lately and when I do so sometimes its just normal but other times hardly anything comes out, just a few drops it can be quite painful at times. I have been drinking water and cranberry juice but it seems to come back. I also now have diahorrea. Is it best I go to the doctor or is there home remedies I can follow? (Im 18 and sexually active, also on the pill and my last period came normally.)
It seems that you are suffering from urinary tract infection. Diarrhea can be due to that too. I would advise you to take Levofloxacin 250 mg (Levoflox) twice a day for five days. Drink lots of water and cranberry juice along with this medicine as only liquids won't be enough to eliminate infection totally. You can also combine antacids and painkillers with this for a preventing heartburn and having relief in pain.
If you do not feel better by the end of course of antibiotics, you should go for blood test for complete blood count analysis and urine culture.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HCM. I wish you feel better soon!
