Premenopausal, Advised Seasonale Birth Control. Have Anxiety, Mood Swings, Hot Flashes. Any Natural Supplement?

I am perimenopausal and my dr recommended seasonale birth control. I am 46 years old ... I eat very healthy and workout everyday. I just started the pill last week to relieve my menopausal symptoms, which include anxiety, mood swings, just started hot flashes, just not feeling right. I am extremely scared of blod clots etc. Would you recommend a natural supplement?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
If you use the tablets for limited period of time usually that may not lead to much problems.
But regular checkups and investigations like coagulation profile are needed to detect any abnormality at the earliest.
Annual mammogram is also important.
Better to choose phytoestogens as per as possible.
Discuss these things with your doctor and take tablets with her prescription.
For more details you can ask me directly through the premium forum.
Take care.
