Pregnant, Suggested For Susten And Microgest. Is It A Right Medicine?

Hi, I m preganent with 7 weeks. and i hadn t any miscarriages in past my case is tottaly normal but my doctor suggest me to take susten 100 injection and i took one injection so it s good for my baby or not. and one capsule which is microgest 200 mg i took one capsule. i read on net that these medicine is not good. i m so worried is good or not in pregancy.

thanks for your query.
Both susten and microgest are forms of progesterone.
Both are given in early pregnancy , for luteal phase support, if the doctor feels the need.
There might be risk factors like previous miscarriages, delayed growth of present baby, history of polycystic ovarian disease, threatened pains or any risk for miscarriage detected by the doctor on pelvic examination or on ultrasound.
These are safe drugs, if given for proper indication, and you should consult your prescribing doctor for elaboration on why they were given to you.
Please do not worry about it, as you have taken only one dose of each, and these are routinely given in high risk patients for pregnancy support.
