Pregnant. Wheezing, Congestion, Stuffy Nose, Short Breath. Concerned?

hi im 21 weeks pregnant with my second son. i have been wheezing for 3 days now and have strong congestion along with a stuffy nose. at first i thought it was allergy related but last night i started having really short breath. i cant stand up or walk around for more than 2 min with out feeling like i cant breath. im really concerned for my unborn child. is there something i could take for this over the counter?

During pregnancy, asthma related symptoms can be very difficult to control (wheezing and shortness of breath). This is especially concerning in the setting of a recent upper respiratory infection. You need to contact your OB/GYN immediately or go directly to an ER to be evaluated.
