Pink Pale Patches In Groin Area, Itchy. Applying Clotrimazole Cream. Treatment?
Hi, I have pink pale patches in the groin area. It appears discolourised and pink. And sometimes feel itchy and irritation when I wear jean or tight pants in hot weather. I made some research in internet and came to the conclusion that its tinea cruris and started applying clotrimazole cream. I have been using for more than 15 days. Though the patch had turned from pink to white still it had not returned to its original colour. I can just infer that its a form of fungal infection or a severe form of tinea cruris. Please prescribe any strong alternate drug for treatment
Hi, It seems that you are having fungal infection. Along with local application of Clotrimazole go for oral anti-fungal like Flucanozole 150 mg once in a week for 4 weeks. Keep local part clean, dry and airy. Ok and take care.
