Pimples In Vagina, Stench. On Doxytet Fixime. Had Unprotected Sex. Do I Have Disease In My Bloodstream?

Hi my vagina stinks all the time it has pimples n some big 1s underneath my skin the doctors has given me doxytet fixime n four other tablets they even gave me some shot yet this whatever it is keeps appearing after disappearing for a week I am not sexually active for the last 3 months since this stuff appeared iv had unprotected sex 4 years ago when I had my virginity broken iv google std's and other diseases and it says diseases can live in your bloodstream for years I am all out of answers I need help!!!

Hello ma'am.

I can understand you are frustrated as medical treatment does not seem to be helping you much.

First of all, it is true that some infections can go into a latent phase (during which the individual would be asymptomatic, but still have the infection in the body).

There are also some cases in which, certain conditions lead to reinfections despite adequate and appropriate use of medications. In such patients, till the source is removed, the infections will recur.

In your case, I would advise a urine culture and sensitivity test along with a culture examination of a vaginal swab sample. These incestigations will help in accurately diagnosing youe condition and will also provide information on the most suitable medication that should treat you permanently.

Even after this if your infection or symptoms recur, then you will have to undergo elaborate evaluationto find some underlying cause, leading to reinfections.
