Welcome to HCM! You are suffering from DUB (Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding) due to Fibroids or uterine Myomas; confirm it with a good ultrasound examination - You have a rare condition known as UTERUS DIDELPHYS (double uterus with two separate cervices); if you are married and already have a child (as pregnancy is difficult to sustain in such condition) then you may undergo hysterectomy (surgical removal of one or both uteri depending on the locations(s) of the fibroid(s); the unaffected uterus may be spared.
Since you are suffering for the last one year your haemoglobin may be as low as 4 gram%; blood transfusion may be required before you undergo conventional surgery where blood loss may be substantial depending on the size and location of the fibroids with uterine vasculature (blood vessels feeding them).
An alternative and novel approach is INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY in select cases - Performing Endometrial ABLATION (destruction of tissue) like TBEA (thermal balloon endometrial ablation), MEA (microwave endometrial ablation), hydro-thermablation, endometrial cryotherapy and BREA (bipolar radio-frequency endometrial ablation). Please discuss with your Gynaecologist.
