Pain On Sacroiliac Area, Hot Tingling, Sensitivity, Sleeping Difficulty, Nausea. No Relief With Painkillers, Rashes Appeared. Shingles?
I'm afraid I might have shingles. I've had severe pain on left side of sacroiliac area for nearly a week, but different from any previous back problem, with hot tingling of skin & sensitivity to touch; very difficult to sleep as no position is comfortable. Also experienced nausea for some days last week. Went to doc on Friday - diagnosed wrenching of sacroiliac area; prescribed painkillers & anti-inflammatories. Symptoms haven't improved. Yesterday experienced an attack of shivering - had to go to bed & put central heating on. Had another uncomfortable night & this morning a rash has appeared over part of the area.
