Pain On Left Side Under Arm Near Breast, Constant Burping. On Treatment For Acid Reflux. Any Ideas ?
I have been having pain on my left side under my arm near my breast .......on a scale of 1 - 10 it is a 2...just annoying....i ve had this pain off and on for over 2 weeks now.......i do have constant burping.......i am on medication for acid reflux .......i have no other symptoms........about a week ago the pain had spread to my back also and it was bad.......i am not sure of breath, not dizzy, no other chest pain

Acid reflux can lead to pain in a widespread area above the umblicus. The pain can be in the chest, it can spread to the back. it can be in the upper abdomen.
However, the pain in the armpit can be in the breast tissue whicg extends for sone distance in the axilla.
See, whether you have the pain during or before menstruation. If this association is found then this pain could be due breast problem.
Besides these causes it could be a muscular pain.
A complete examination needs to be done to find out the cause.
For your acid reflux disease it is advicable to decrease the intake of tea, coffee, alcohol.
Diet should not be very spicy or fatty.
While sleeping keep your head end up to avoid discomfort at night.
You can take a PPI like rabeprazole 20 mg for relief.
