Hi,

Noted your history and suspicion about your Doctor specifically observing some part of scan with some dots.
Well first of all it is worthless to think about such a thing, the Radiologist;s opinion in writing has to be considered as final. and the Doctor can only correlate with clinical evaluation and examination.
Frequent urination can be due to urinary tract infection or stress and anxiety too can cause such a problem. This can be diagnosed by tests of urine and blood along with ultrasonography of abdomen.
If infection is present then an appropriate course of a proper antibiotic that acts on urinary as well as gastrointestinal tract helps a lot.
As for the bloating to the tune of looking 5 months pregnant can be due to the following reasons:
Gaseous distension of intestines.
Aerophagia, aerated drink.
Intestinal obstruction.
This can be seen by X-ray of abdomen in standing position and contrast enhanced CT scan with Enteroclysis.
Heartburn and acid reflux is also called as GERD that is gastroesophageal reflux disease. This can be due to lax lower esophageal sphincter aided by intestinal problems, stress and anxiety.
Upper GI endoscopy and such tests can help to know any cause along with the reports of investigations as discussed above.
A PPI like Omeprazole, Domperidone can help settle this problems.
Lifestyle changes with diet adjustments can help a lot.

I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. T Chandrakant,

I ll try to make it short. I am going to start when I believe my problems started. I started taking birth control pills last year, and after 6 months had excruciating abdominal pain lasting for hours. I tested positive for H Pylori, and an ultrasound showed gallstones. I took the antibiotics for two weeks to eradicate H Pylori (tested negative for it 6 weeks later) and I took Ursodiol to dissolve the gallstones (had an ultrasound 6 months later showed no gallstones). Anyway ever since I took the antibiotics and the first ultrasound showed gallstones, I have been bloated constantly and have acid reflux. It doesn t matter what I eat. I quit eating for two weeks just to see if I would feel better, and I didn t. I have been taking probiotics off and on for a few months and eating yogurt every day and haven t felt any better. Do you have any suggestions of what could possibly be wrong?

Shortness of breath, short bouts of loss of breath, slight pressure in upper chest area, acid reflex, bloating, frequent urination, soft stool with difficulty going, lower back pain, no energy, very fatigued. What specialist do I need to see and what may i be dealing with. Already have seen doctor and been to emergency room. Chest x-ray showed slight fluid on lungs. Dr put me on steroid and that is gone. On med for frequent urination, Ditopan, not helping. On inhaler for possibility of asthma, helps a little. On Lovastatin for cholesterol med. On actanol for osteoporosis. Taking Omeprazole for acid reflux. My doctor says there is nothing else she can do.

I’m a 23 year old female, who has had two children. I’m currently on the Nexplanon birth control implant. For weeks now, I have been having problems with needing to frequently urinate and needing to go almost immediately when the need to go hits. Along with that, I’ve had aggressive heart burn/acid reflux for about the same length of time. And I haven’t been sleeping well at all. (Which could be due to the heartburn and frequent need to pee.) Since I’ve been on Nexplanon, I haven’t had periods. But I have recently had random brown spotting. My BMs have also changed. I’ve always had digestive issues that haven’t been diagnosed, that usually led to me having diarrhea more often than not, but lately I’ve been constipated or having regular BMs. I took a pregnancy test two weeks ago, just to make absolute sure, even though I’m on birth control, because the symptoms were confusing me. But the test was negative. What could be going on?

52 - female, I started with a gurgling stomach a few months ago, and then burping, and finally woke one night to extreme acid reflux . I read about low stomach acid and tried HCL and it has been helping me digest my food. I have constipation , a slight pain under my rib cage, tested and had ultrasound for everything, and results were all good. So my naturopath believes pylori might be the culprit. I am very healthy otherwise, thin, and eat organic foods, in the summer I grow my veggies, I know longer drink coffee, tea, alcohol , or sugar. Does this sound like pylori causing my low stomach acid.? Help, thanks.!
