Pain On Left Arm, Wrist, Thumb, Forearm, Severe Pain. Suggestion?
Hi, my left arm has been hurting with really sharp pain. It feels like the kind of pain when you have a fracture. This started with the pain in first in the wrist and thumb but now its hurting more along the top of my forearm. Nothing is helping this pain and if the hand brushes or touches anything the pain is excruciating. please help.
Sorry for your pain. Your pain might be due to tendinitis, which is inflammation of muscle tendon(tendon is muscle ending part) or may also be due to nerve entraptment, muscle sprain or strain. However, a physical examination is mandatory to assess this. I suggest not to use many pain killers for this pain as it won't be of much use but cause side effects. However, you might need physiotherapy after proper diagnosis. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have have any clarifications.
