Pain In Left Testicle, Abdominal Pain, Low Fever, Paining After Heavy Physical Activity. Anything To Worry?
About 3 weeks ago, I started experiencing pain in my left testicle. The pain comes and goes. I had some abdominal pain and a very low fever. Went to the doctor and they ruled out UTI and STDs. They concluded that I probably pulled a groin muscle and am fighting off the common cold or some kind of virus. They told me to come back if pain doesn't go away on its own. I'm still experiencing mild to sharp pain that comes and goes. It tends to hurt after heavy physical activity--walking, running, lifting. What could this be? Should I be worried?
hello Thanks for your query. Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have infection of the either Testicle or Epididymis.(Epididymitis Orchitis). However final diagnosis can be confirmed only on clinical examination by a qualified General Surgeon or Urologist. Please consult the specialist for clinical evaluation after few basic tests like Routine Urine test and Ultrasound scanning of the scrotum. In the meanwhile take broad spectrum antibiotics along with anti inflammatory medication twice daily for a week. It should get resolved in 2 weeks. Dr.Patil.
