On Continuous Period, Spotting. What Is The Cause?

Hey, for almost three weeks my cycle has been on. only for a few days was it very heavy, during which there were may clots, otherwise I ve been spotting. this has happened a few times in the past and I thought it was just my fibro or endometriosis or early menopause . my cycle hasn t been regular is many years and i m 38 yrs old. help?

Menometrorrhagia or heavy menses and bleeding between periods could by cause by several conditions including fibroids, infections, endometriosis, etc

However, in sexually active women, all forms of per vaginal bleeding necessitate a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy is a common cause of bleeding.

So, i will advice you take and pregnancy test and meet your doctor for detail evaluation and tests such as ultrasound and for an appropriate management.
