I get cold sores a few times a year. I usually get a prescription from my Dr. Due to the high cost for a tiny tube, my Dr. is not familiar with the with the dosage that is appropriate for cold sores on the lip and near the mouth. I prefer the cream, but it is costly. My sister lives in San Diego, and I ve gone to Rosarito to purchase the cream. The cost is much lower and quite reasonable. I don t have a sore now, but I like to have the cream on hand so I can start treating the problem right away. In your professional opinion, what would be the correct dosage for tablet, since the cream is so expensive.
