Hi, The combination of symptoms of sore throat and facial oedema along with swollen glands can be related to each other in the way of a viral infection that can cause sort of reactive hyperplasia of the lymphatic system hence, causing edema over the face and swelling in the lymph nodes. Since you had sore throat 2 weeks ago, it is possible that your immunity system got weakened and thus allowed another attack with more severity.
