My son has itchy bumps due to mosquito bite

My fifteen year old son has what appears to be mosquito bites on his elbows, knees, and fingers. He has at least 50 of these strange bumbs all over his body. This is considerably more compared to the 5 or so he had four days ago. He also complains that these bumbs itch. Can you please help me to understand what this is?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi,thanks for query. This could be either some generalized skin reaction to something may be mosquito bite or viral rash.Avoid any form of chemicals on it,you can apply lacto calamine over the spots to relieve itching.Give him anti allergic tablets that he is comfortable with.Give him plenty of liquids. In case this does not help, please see your primary care physician.
wishing you good health.
