Menopausal. Swelling Or Lump On Head, Hypothyroidism, Hot Flushes. Taking Synthroid And Herbal Tea. What Is Wrong?

The past few days I've been noticing what seems to be a small lump about the size of a peanut in the right side of my neck but towards the back. It is tender when I touch it. I thought maybe it was a knot from tense muscles. Today I also noticed it is still there and when I lower by head it feels as if I have another larger swelling or lump from just below my head in the back of the neck, extending towards the side. If I put my head back, I can only feel the smaller side lump. They feel pretty hard and feel tender to touch.
Could it just be swollen muscles or maybe injured myself, I don't recall anything specific occurring?
I am hypothyroid and take synthroid. The only other symptoms I am having more than usual, is I am thirsty often, I have a stuffy nose and I'm more constipated then usual. I am also having lower back pains. Except for the continuous thirst, most the other things I've had on occasions. They are just worse than usual.
I am a female, age 53. 5'6", 141 lbs, fairly active and healthy otherwise. One last thing, I've been through Menopause and my hot flashes subsided about a year or 2 ago for the most part. This past week or so, they seem to have come back or I've been getting hot all of a sudden.
I have been dieting the past month. Having Herbal Life shakes and tea for breakfast, small meals throughout the day. Easting healthy and smaller portions. I've lost about 10 llbs.
Thanks for your help,

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms that you are having are related to the hormonal changes that your body goes through during the menopause. You can get some natural phyto estrogen supplements prescribed from your gynecologist for relief.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
