Large Heterogeneous Enhancing Mass Occupying Nasal Cavity, Local Infiltration. Done CT Scan. Help?
my grandma 92 years did a CT scan and was diagnose with large hetrogeneous enhancing mass occupying the right nasal cavity with local infitration. With know case of breast carinoma, this could represents metastatic deposit. Differentiatials include primary nasal malignancy ie; scc. suggest HPE correlation.
Can i know what it mean and also the next steps/ suggestion?
Hi!. Thanks for your query. HPE stands for Histo pathological Examination in other words Biopsy. Depending on the Site they may go for FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration) then depending on its report may go for Biopsy. Take care.
