hi, i am 21.. have intercourse rergularly like 4-5 times a week with only one partner and we're both loyal to each other. the problem is i get itchy vagina around 2 weeks after my menses, every month sometime vaginal discharge with foul odor and it burns during urination. i have used Candid- B cream, still no improvement. can u help plz. thank you
Hi, Candid B will address only the fungal infection. As you have foul smelling discharge, I infer you have bacterial infection too. You need to take appropriate medication on consulting a doctor. The reason you have this infection persisting may be due to; 1. You are stopping the ointment too early on getting some relief. Relief do not mean it's cured. Continue for at least one week more after complete relief. 2. You are getting reinfected from your partner. For males, usually it is asymptomatic. 3. You are getting reinfected from the undergarments. Use only cotton ones. Dry them in direct sunlight.
