Itchy Bumps On Chest, Stomach, Arms, Legs. Suggestions?

Yes. For the past year I have been breaking out. It mostly occurs on my chest, stomach, arms and legs. It is little bumps that itch very bad. I bleed sometimes because I scratch so bad. I really think that the chest breakout is maybe heat rash. The bumps are not in any specific pattern and are everywhere. Any suggestions of what I can put on this. The itching is driving me crazy and I really dont want this to scar. Please help

Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I a so sorry to hear about these itchy bumps and the inconvenience it has caused you.

Itchy bumps often represent an allergic reaction to a substance in the environment that the body cannot really tolerate. The best approach is always to identify the cause and address it.. However, if it i caused by heat as you suggest in your case, controlling it might be very difficult. It is rather preferable to relief yourself of the symptoms. Anti histamines like loratadine, chlorpenamine can be of help in this case so as to avoid scratching and the associated skin bleeds that come with it. It also increases the risk of a skin infection, too.

If this shouldn't help, then consulting with your physician is going to be a good way forward for a closer interrogation, examination and maybe some investigation to re-orient and tailor specific treatment.

Hope this helps and provides sufficient information for you to make informed decisions based on. I wish you a speedy relief from symptoms.

Thanks for your query. You have not mentioned your age. First of all rule out your diabetes Mellitus because diabetic patients are more prone to such boils (itchy bump described by you).
You may be having some bacterial infection of skin which erupts in this manner. I would advise you the following
•     Please rule out your diabetes Mellitus
•     Take one capsule of Doxycycline 100mg OD.
•     One tablet Cetirizine 10mg OD
•     Daily bath with dettol soap
•     You can also apply talcum powder
•     The best would be culture of this erupted material and take antibiotics accordingly.
If you don’t get relief, plz let me know on pakheim@gmail.compakheim@yahoo.com
Hoping that you will get benefit from my advice.
My prayers are with you.
Thanks and best regards.
