I have been told by my doctor that I suffer from BBPV. I am currently going through a bad bout of cluster headaches. ( Am going to bed OK and waking up with the most severe pain. I have been an asthma / allergy sufferer my whole life ( have just turned 50) mostly under control but in Janaury had an attack of really bad allegies and was diagnosed by a specialist with Chronic autoimmune idiopathic urticaria. Can there be a common link between all three, but more importantly between the vertigo and the headaches? At the moment I get the vertigo every morning when I get out of bed with accompanying nausea and tiredness and it lasts most of the day . The headaches seem to be occuring every couple of days at the moment.
The symptoms seem to be related to benign paroxismal vertigo. This condition can cause nausea, dizziness and sometimes headache. I suggest using medication such as Meclizine hydrochloride three times a day for the vertigo. I also suggest to avoid salt in the diet. In case of headache, you can use anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
