My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at age 79 and is now turning 86 years old. She also has mitral valve prolapse, atrial fibrulation and diabetes. The heart issues were as a result of contracting scarlet fever as an 11 year old. The diabetes is fully controlled with a proper diet only; she was diagnosed while still living alone and eating horribly. She never smoked or drank alcohol, but my father was a smoker and died at age 54. She was married for 27 years and inhaled 2nd hand smoke during that time. She was 1 of 12 children; all of her siblings have died of either heart disease or cancer. None of them lived past 81 years of age. She's approx. 5 ft and weighs 145lbs., but was obese most of her married life. She attends a senior daycare facility 4 times a week and gets exercise there, social activity and mental stimulation. Is there a table to calculate her life expectancy with those conditions?
