Hi,

I can understand your concern for pus filled areas covering on head, lumps in neck with no help from oral antibiotics and steroids. It is difficult to make a exact diagnosis of your daughter's condition without pictures. But in general we do not see psoriasis manifesting as pus filled areas except in few cases putular psoriasis.

As the areas are pus filled so your daughter is correctly prescribed with antibiotics but appears to be less effective due to more eruptions.

If I were your daughter's dermatologist then would have prescribed a higher antibiotic orally and to apply medium potency steroid cream such as mometasone or fluticasone cream with an antibiotic application such as mupirocin or fucidin. You can give antihistamine benadryl or loratadine by mouth. The only precaution you must follow is not to touch, pinch pop or squeeze any of them other wise it can get infected and can cause complications.

Take care.
