Is Positive Rubella IGG And IGM A Cause For Concern?
HI I AM 11 WEEKS PREGNANT, AT 7TH WEEK WHEN I WENT TO CONFORM PREGNANCY THEY RUN SOME TESTS ON ME AND SAID MY RUBELLA IGG AND IGM ARE POSITIVE, WHEN I ASKED MY DOCTOR ABOUT THIS SHE SAID ITS NOT A PROBLEM BECAUSE I AM IMMUNED AGAINST IT, THEY DIDN'T TELL ME THE RESULT NUMBER BUT 6 MONTHS BACK I WENT TO INFERTILITY SPECIALIST FOR PREGNANCY AT THAT TIME THEY DID RUBELLA IGG TEST AND THAT RESULT IS 140. SO MY QUESTION IS IS THERE ANY THING TO WORRY OR ITS OK.

SO dont worry about your Ig G result.
If the Ig M is positive, it indicates active infection, which needs treatment.
