Is Neosporin The Right Medication To Treat Deep White Yellowish Burns?

Hello sir, My son got burnt with some hot gravy in restaurent. Initially the local doctor diagnose superficial burn and asked to apply Silverex 4 times daily and keep the would open. We did that but a layer got formed on burnt area as we were advised to not clean. Subsequently, we made a new burn specialist after 4 days and he identified that the white, yellowish 1.52 inch patch is a deep burn and not superficial. He asked us to stop SilverEx and start using NeoSporin on the wound and get this dressed with sterile gauze daily. he says wound will heal with this but there may be scar. I need your advise whether neosporin is right to treat deep white, yellowish a bit wet burns? Also I fear about this tearm called skin grafting.

The exact opinion regarding the treatment of wound can only be given after having the visual impression of the wound. in cases of the burn it is very much important to take care of the secondary infection of the wound for that the local antibiotic is given. So it is of utmost importance to have a proper consultation.
After considering the description of wound the whitish patch might be the scab formed.
My opinion is that to make the wound to heal fast you should also go for oral antibiotics covering both Gram positive & gram negative organisms, along with the local antibiotics. Also the anti-inflammatory drugs should also be added oraly to hasten the healing. Also vitamnin C shold be added to avoid the hyperpigmentation & hasten recovery.
Regarding the topical cream/powder I will advice to use mupirosin ointment rather than using neosporine.

If this is the deep burn scarring is unavoidable & skin grafting is the only option to that.
