Is Missed Period After Abortion Sign For Pregnancy?

i am 26year old female i had MTP on 04.03.12 after 2 weeks i had sex on 24.03.12. but till now (18.04.12) i didt get my regular periods. after abortion 43 days left. will i get pregent again. if i get again shall again abort it. what are the side effect in that. can i take mifestone and misprostol tablet again

Hi,
Usually periods return in 4-8 weeks time after abortion. So this absence of period could be due to pregnancy. Get a pregnancy test done to find out whether you are pregnant.

If you are pregnant and you wish to continue with pregnancy you can happily do so. There are no side effects of the MTP that you had on this pregnancy.

Now if you do not want to keep the pregnancy you can use mifipristone and misoprostol again.
If you wish to delay pregnancy henceforth please use contraception which is safer for your health than using medicines to abort.
