Is It To Be Concern About The Tingling In The Arm After Taking Birth Control?
Good evening. I am a 22 year-old female, 5' 3", 110 lbs. Took my first birth control pill dosage this morning. I feel tingling in my right arm from my shoulder down to the palm of my hand. I have been smoking cigarettes for the past year; I recently (past couple days) have stopped given my decision to start on the pill. Is this sensation serious? Should I seek medical attention?
Tingling sensation is not related to birth control pills. It could be a muscle strain or a pinched nerve. If the sensation persists, then follow up with your primary provider.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
