Is It Possible For Menstrual Cramps To Occur Even After Menstrual Cycle And I Am In The Early Stage Of Menopause?
I am in the early stage of menopasal. Normaly i have a mensus every month since age 12. The last year I nave had a total of 5 ranging from my norm of 7 days to as little as 5 days, some heavy bleeding and cloting some barely at all. I havn't had one for a few months but did get one this month. Started out very light and painless. On the forth day bleeding remained spairotic but very bad cramps made me litterally in a ball of pain, like bad labor. Still little blood. I placed a heat pack on lower abdomin over night. was better in the am. Cramps continued to come strongly the periodicaly for the next few day, though with no mensus and now past mensus cycle time. Is it possible to have mensus cramps after the mensus cycle? Not sexually active and havn't been for over 17yrs.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. In the early stages of menopause, it is pre menopause, the harmons will play a lot . The other cause being anemia, or infection. I advise you to consult a gynecologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have ultrasound to exclude any structural abnormalities. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms hematinics, fluconazole, cifixime, and ornidazole. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods for good maintenance of health. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
