Is It Dangerous For Fertility To Have Minimal Fluid In POD?
After 2week of burst appendicitis ,I take antibiotic treatment.now in USG show minmal fluid in POD and localized fluid collection 2.7×4.8×3cm with internal echo and septation is noted in right cul.this can be cured by antibiotic.is it dangerous for fertility .

Pouch of Doughlas (POD) is a sac present between uterus and urinary bladder.
This pouch fills up with fluid during infection and/or inflammation of abdominal and pelvic organs.
It is also filled with fluid during ovulation.
The fluid clears after the infection/ inflammation clears away.
The accumulation of fluid in the POD does not affect infertility.
Since, you have taken antibiotic for appendicitis, the fluid will also also clear away.
