Is It Common To Experience Flu Like Symptoms With Mild Fever And Chest Congestion After Taking Alendronate?
Thank you. I am taking Alendronate 70MG. This past Monday was my second dose. I have been experiencing flu like symptoms, with mild fever, and chest congestion. Is this common? I had been ill two weeks ago, returned to school (work) and then became ill once again. I do not have any of the reactions listed......jlc

Usually alendronate does not have flu like side effects.
But ,fever has been reported on intravenous infusions of alendronate
Also there are very few reports about exacerebration of asthama attacks after this drug.
I shall suggest u to consult the prescribing doctor if symptoms persist.
