Is It A Matter Of Concern To Have Intermittent Light, Watery Bleeding After Not Having Periods Since 15 Months?

After not having a period for 15 months I have been having light watery bleeding on and off for 4 days now with some cramping. Normally I have heavy periods with extreme cramping. Could it be something else like implantation bleeding? Should I be concerned. I've never taken birth control and have only had one pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic

Greetings of the day

Absence of periods for so long time and presence of watery discharge, in the absence of any menopause symptoms, I would like to consider the possibility of pelvic inflammatory disease.
Suggest you to consult your Gynecologist for further complete evaluation.

Take care

Best Regards
Dr T Shobha Deepak
