What Is The Treatment For Pelvic Inflammatory Diseases With Black Discharge?

I was recently in hospital with an infection in my tubes, they put it down to pelvic inflammatory disease they flushed out my tubes and fed me full of antibiotics. Its been one month and this is my first period since, its been dark brown nearly black for a week now. Ive had really bad stomach pains/cramps. Felt nauseas and have thrown up a few times. And there is no chance i am pregnant. As i haven t had sex since a month before my operation. IM worried.

Hello,

Pain with dark bloody discharge is likely premenstrual and indicative of old blood. It is nothing to be worried about.
You can take Tylenol for pain.

Hope this answers your query
