Is Hydroxyzine Not A Prescribable Drug For Skin Condition?
I just turned 65. My doctor will not prescribe hydroxyzine for my skin condition any more because of my age and because of the new regulations regarding the medication in the affordable care act. He says he will be heavily fined if he prescribes the medication for me. Why?

Well for that you need to go through the rules mentioned in the act . In which country this act is in regulation ? nd
But as of medicine is concerned Hydroxyzine causes Sedation which can be more profound in elderly and hence not advised in elderly. But there are other medications which are as effective as Hydroxyzine but with less sedation . Kindly ask your doctor for prescription.
