Is Home Pregnancy Test Reliable?

I took a pregnancy test last night with positive results my question is I had unprotected sex 2 weeks at most would a home pregnancy test be able to give a positive result that soon or would it be possible I was already pregnant from a previous time with my boyfriend

The pregnancy test is 97 % reliable in diagnosing a pregnancy.
It is positive, when you are one day overdue.
It is extremely difficult to pinpoint exactly how many weeks pregnant you are by a home urine pregnancy test.
To know the exact duration of the pregnancy, an ultrasound scan is much more reliable.
2 weeks after intercourse, the test could be very well positive.
What you do is wait for a couple of weeks more.
Then take a pelvic ultrasound at around 6 weeks of pregnancy.
The embryo with the heartbeat should be visualized then.
Just ensure that the scan is done transvaginally to know better details.
