Is Cam Walker Required If The Fracture Is Not Healing?

5 weeks ago i fractured my great toe with intra articulte fracture as well. My doctor says no healing so far according to the recent x-ray, he states i will need to be in Cam Walker for another 6 weeks at least. Does that sound correct or should i seek a second opinion?

Hello,

The fractures on the great to sometimes require time to get completely healed.

You can seek for a second opinion. But, should get all the reports from the beginning and the recent ones to compare the changes.

All the best.
