Is Bleeding Heavy Along With Clots Normal After Periods?

I'm 41 years old. I've always had a normal menstrual cycle. 10 days after my last period I started spotting within 2 days the flow became heavy enough to use super tampon. It seemed like a period with a combination of dark blood and bright red with clotting. It started getting lighter after about 6 days and 10 days later I was still bleeding some. Thought it was stopping. Then on day 13 started heavy again. I know I have a hernia right above my navel that is rather large. I have no pain. ??? Is this bleeding normal or related to hernia?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, this is not related with hernia but of course related with your age, this is because of the starting of the menopause, this type of bleeding if common symptoms of pre-menopause syndrome, if this is happening on and often then better to see the OBG person, for further management, take care and have good day.
