Is Absence Of Yolk /fetus Pole And Mean Sac During 5th Week Of Pregnancy Normal?

I am 5 weeks 4 days pregnant according to ultrasound but there is only a mean sac, no yolk or fetus pole, is that normal? I am so worried that I might not continue with a healthy prengancy. My hormones have gone from 5000 to almost 8000 in 6 days. Let me know please

1.No its not normal to be like that with empty gestational sac with yolk sac and fetal pole. Which are generally seen by this time.
2.But its not the end - in this case generally i ask for a repeat scan after a week time. ( very few turns positive)
3.Generally by 5 1/2 weeks there should be fetal cardiac activity by trans vaginally and 6 1/2 weeks trans abdominally.
4.This condition is called blights ovum. Don't worry you don't have to expect every time.
5.Hope the best and get a repeat scan done after week to 10 days time. Good luck.
