Is TSH Value Of 8.27 High During Pregnancy?

Hello Doctor , I am 27 years old and i am Pregnant and I am on 28 week, last week only I was tested for Thyroid and got TSH value : 8.27, T3:148 bg/dl and T4: 10.70. Is this TSH value high? I was never been tested before and no family background of Thyroid. Is there any problem. How will be the child any complications? Now I am using Thyroxine 50mcg. Pls advice . Thanking you. I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have pregnancy and your TSH level is 8.27. It suggest hypothyroidism. You need thyroxine supplements. Hypothyroidism can leads to developmental defects in child. But if you take proper supplements then its ok. Keep your TSH level in normal range.
