Is Lynoral And Edoges Effective In Treatment Of PCOD?

hi i m 26 year old. last nov. i had miscarriage.after 3 monts I AM TRYING TO CONCIVE FROM 6 monts BUT NO GOOD LUCK. then i go to docter for checkups. now i m suffring from PCOD. my doctor suggest me some medicines lynoral,endogest 100, OB_CAL and bigomet sr 500.

Hi,

Yes, the prescribed medications are effective in the treatment of PCOD.

Lynoral (estrogen) and endogest (progesterone) are females sex hormones commonly prescribed to regularize the menstrual cycle and thus effective in the treatment of PCOD.

Bigomet-SR (metformin) acts by reducing the insulin resistance in PCOD and it also stimulates ovulation (release of egg from the ovary) and regulates menstruation thereby increasing the chances of getting pregnant.

OB-Cal is a combination of calcium, vitamin D and minerals like zinc and magnesium which is prescribed to correct the deficiency associated with these minerals.
