I Have Cramps And No Bleeding. Is It Normal ?

I just found out that I have a cyst on my right ovary . The doctor found it on an MRI and I have gone for an ultrasound . Since the MRI, my back has been hurting worse and in the last couple weeks I have had movement in my right side. For the last 5 days I have period cramps with hardly no bleeding . The only bleeding I had was a pink discharge and a bloody mucous. I am about 230 lbs, female and I am 38 years old.

wellcome to health care magic.
The symptoms of ovarian cyst are:
a.lower abdominal or pelvic pain
b.irregular menses
c.feeling of fullness in the pelvic area.
d.prolonged pain during menstrual period
e.pelvic pain after strenous exercise or intercourse
f.vaginal pain
g.spotting.
now you have not mentioned the size of cyst.only thing i can make out is that its probably a single cyst.
Functional ovarian cyst are most common and they dissappear on their own.but if the cyst is enlarging then they have to be removed surgically.so its a must to consult a gyanecologist.
