How To Treat Enlarged Adenoid And Wheezing And Swollen Lymph Node In A Child?
My son is having enlarged adenoid and wheezing and swollen lymph node for which my paediatrician started him om antibiotics followed by akt drugs bcoz of tbigm positive and adenoidectomy but ent surgeon not allowing for surgery as he is only3'5 year old now he is on homeopathy im confused whether we om right track
Hi.. As the swelling is persistent and not responding to antibiotic and having evidence of TB, starting of Anti tubercular treatment is justified. Along with that the child should be investigated to find the other focus of TB and detailed investigation of the other household member for tuberculosis is needed. Adenoids can be operated if it is causing respiratory difficulty or recurring infection or snoring and lack of sleep. If none of these symptoms then you can get the surgery postponed. You can ask more doubts and queries.
