How To Treat A Itchy Mole On The Abdomen?

My 5 year old son has a brown mole like cluster on his abdomen in the location of his spleen. The cluster is roughly the size of an elm leaf. He says that they/it itches slightly. I have noticed this cluster for a few weeks, but at first thought it was just a scrape he received while playing.
