Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the strep throat, may be secondary to the common cold, usually comes as a secondary infection.
Cool things like ice water, ice cream, cool drinks, and fruits and juices should be avoided. if they are taken in presence of infection, the treatment fails.
I advise you to consult an E.N.T surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have culture and sensitivity of the throat swab, and get treatment accordingly.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms erythromycin 500mg, phenyl propolamine , paracetamol, and levocitrizine.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
