How To Cure Painful Red Bumps In The Throat?

Sir I have red bumps in the back of my throat. I also have unilateral sore throat more like an irritation . The pain feels mostly on my soft pallette and sometimes irritation when I swallow. The irritation comes and goes. I have been having these problems for about three months. Should I be worried?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It can be allergic pharyngitis or acid reflux. Start tablet Pantoprazole for 6 weeks. Take more water. Avoid spicy food, smoking, alcohol. Sleep after 2 hours of food. You can do warm saline gargle.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rajat Basak, ENT Specialist
