How To Control Heavy Periods?

48 years old still experiencing very very heavy Periods with massive tissue clump soaking through pants and underwear faster than i can change . Actually I have experience blood running down my leg and puddling on the floor beneath me when I'm in a impromptu meeting...like today! Came home tonight ASAP, I showered immediately, changed, protected my self adequately ... sat down to watch tv, I be dang if I didn't bleed through everything Again...10 mins. After cleaning up. I had tubes tied 12 yrs ago. But im tired of looking like a crime scene took place every time I have a period. Help!

Hello madam, from the history you have given, well you need to consult your gynaecologist, as pre menopausal abnormal bleeding needs more attention.you need a detail history of your previous cycles, any medical complications like thyroid needs to be ruled out, and also a family history should be considered and a local pelvic examination to rule out the cause of bleeding.Sometimes an ultrasound and an endometrial biopsy may be required.i would suggest you to consult your gynaecologist. And also increase bleeding may cause a decline in your haemoglobin value. Hope i was helpful to you.
