Hello me n my girl had unprotected sex on sunday and again on Wednesday of September around the 8-12. she been on the pill but missed those two days n I came inside her, she took the pull ever since then but she says she feel symptoms of being pregnant but could it be just her I ovulating?? plz respond
Oral contraceptive pills can give complete protection only when used according to the schedule. When one pill is missed if that is taken within the next 24 hours the protection can be continued. But as she missed 2 tablets completely and if not taken within the next 24 hours complete protection cannot be expected and the possibility of pregnancy cannot be ruled out.
Just by symptoms we cannot come to a conclusion regarding the pregnancy. So, if she misses her expected date of periods better to go for a urine pregnancy test or blood test for pregnancy. Blood test for pregnancy can give more accurate results, if the serum beta HCG levels in the test are less than 5 mIU/mK that rules out the possibility of pregnancy.
