How Serious Is Microvascular Complications ?

How serious will the microvascular complications be? Any way to cure it? I ve heard that even we take our medication regularly or using the SAP (Sensor Augmented Pump) properly, but we still can get microvascular complications as the SAP cannot real time monitoring our BG level. Any way to prevent us getting microvascular complications? How serious it would be if we get it? Can it be cured?

Hi
thanks for query
all landmark trial have shown significant reduction in microvascular complication of diabetes after good control of diabetes which is actually defined as HbA1c less than 6.5%(without hypoglycemia).it is HbA1c not blood glucose which is true reflection of good control.
second important point is early part of diabetes(at onset) should be agreesively treated because it is early metabolic memory which determines microvascular complication.
i hope i have answered your query and waiting for your followup queries
